The folk high schools are committed to processing personal data from our applicants and users in a responsible manner. We want you to understand how we handle data about you, and in this privacy statement we explain what data we collect, how we do it and what we use it for.

2. Purpose of processing personal data
In connection with customer relationships, we collect personal information such as name, e-mail, telephone number. and other necessary information. This is information that is used exclusively to manage your customer relationship. The information is stored as long as there is a customer relationship. You have the right to access, correct and delete data we have stored about you. After the end of the customer relationship, data will be kept for as long as it is appropriate to help you with any history should you need it.
3. Disclosure of personal data to third parties
Personal data will not be disclosed unless there is a statutory duty to provide information to public authorities.
4. Customer register and processing of information in applications
Our customer register contains information about the customer such as name, address and telephone number, in addition to information related to the students' applications. The information is stored in our CRM system as long as it is useful to us. Information collected in connection with applications, customer relationships and use of our website is only Fana folkehøgskule who has access to. Are you looking for a place to folkehøgskole We register, among other things, your name, personal identification number and contact information. The purpose of the registrations is to administer your application and obtain enough information to process your application. The information is stored in WisWeb, which is our administrative system. You can contact fana@fanafolk.no directly at any time if you would like a printout of the personal information stored about you.
We store personal information in the school's administration system, which is operated by Waade Information System. In addition, we collect all documents related to the application process in binders in paper format, stored in locked cabinets in the administration office. All information we collect during the application process is used to assess applicants and to ensure good facilitation for each individual when starting school. Part of the reason for this is also that we must report our course activities to the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, according to the law for folk high schools and its regulations. When we no longer need personal information, it is deleted and shredded. We will eventually retain your contact information, date of birth, and a record of when you attended courses with us.
5. Recruitment
During recruitment, we may process your name, contact information, CV, application, tests, etc. in order to process your job application.
This processing is based on GDPR Article 6 No. 1 letter b, to implement measures based on the application with a view to entering into an employment contract. The personal data is obtained from the applicant and from references provided.
6. Cookies
Fanafhs.no uses cookies, also called cookies, on its websites. Cookies are standard Internet technology that most websites use. We use this to ensure that the website functions optimally, to analyze our traffic, to offer you a better customer experience the next time you visit the website and to deliver customized content and advertisements. 7. Use of cookies on this website

Purpose: Collect information about how visitors use the website. We use this information to create reports to improve the website. The cookies anonymize all information. They tell us something about the number of visitors to the website, where they come from and which pages they visit.

8. Contact form
When you fill out the contact form on the website, we store this information. This information is stored in order to provide better customer service. 9. Sharing
It is possible to share articles on the website on social media (Facebook, Twitter). Further handling of data shared on social media is regulated by your agreement with the relevant online community.
10. Access, correction, and deletion of personal information
According to Section 18 of the Personal Data Act, you as a private individual have the right to access the information registered about you. Access can be obtained by contacting us via e-mail: fana@fanafolk.no. If registered information is incorrect, incomplete, or you wish to delete your information, you can demand this in accordance with Section 27 of the Personal Data Act.
We are required to store information about students for 10 years after completion of the school year. After 10 years, we retain contact information, information about which year you attended, and your date of birth. This is necessary to be able to send out invitations to alumni gatherings.
11. Responsible data processor
Managing Director of Fana Folkehøgskule is responsible for the processing of personal data. The person concerned is responsible for ensuring that internal controls are carried out with regard to the processing of personal data, and that any deviations from applicable legislation are reported and corrected.

12. Changes
