Bergen

You will become well acquainted with Bergen during a year at Fana. It is Norway's second largest city, with a lot of charm and a good atmosphere.

Proximity to the city

Culture City Bergen has a lot to offer.

The city center is compact, and most things are within walking distance.

When you're in the city, you can, for example, take the Fløibanen funicular and get an overview of the entire center, or simply visit a café.

Rich and exciting cultural life

Throughout the year, you'll find excellent concert and theater offerings. There are also plenty of exciting art exhibitions, museums, and a good selection of films.

The older parts of the city are living history where cultural heritage is kept alive: The Hanseatic Bryggen, the Fish Market, Rasmus Meyer's art collections, KODE, and Gamle Bergen to name a few.
