During the year, students choose from a number of optional Saturday seminars.

This Saturday you can choose between “Sweatshop - Deadly Cheap Fashion” and “Peace and Conflict”.

Sweatshop - Cheap fashion

Frida Ottesen from the TV series "Sweatshop - dead cheap fashion" talks about her experiences and lessons from Cambodia, and her encounter with the textile industry. Who was she before she traveled, what has she learned, what was it like to live as a textile worker, why do we have to get involved, how can we all contribute to the fight for an ethical textile industry?

Frida Ottesen is an activist, blogger and speaker.

From shopaholic and ignorant youth, to speaker and activist – Frida takes you on a motivating and inspiring lecture that touches on the topics of ethical production, living wages, human rights, accountability and consumer power.

Peace and conflict

UN Sustainable Development Goal 16: Promote peaceful and inclusive societies to ensure sustainable development, ensure access to justice for all, and build well-functioning, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

The game "Peace and Conflict" takes place in a fictional world consisting of eight countries, where players take on roles such as prime minister, foreign minister, finance minister, etc. During the game, participants are faced with a number of crises and conflicts that must be resolved.

The game provides a practical approach to how to solve security policy challenges.

The seminar is organized in collaboration with People and Defense .
