This year's TV campaign goes to the Atlas Alliance and will open doors for disabled people living in war and poverty. Together, we will provide emergency aid, education and the opportunity for a better life.

1.3 billion people in the world have a disability. Many of these people live in poverty and do not have the same access to education, health care and work as others. In war and conflict areas, life is especially difficult for people with disabilities, and armed conflict leads to more injuries. In Palestine, an entire generation of children is at risk of growing up with serious disabilities because of the war. 

The money from the TV campaign will go towards education, healthcare and emergency aid, as well as aids such as Braille textbooks, wheelchairs and prosthetics. We will give 200,000 people with disabilities and their families in Palestine, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia a better life.

The students at Fana folkehøgskule have supported the TV campaign for many years. They have volunteered, walked with cans and raised money in other ways. This year's students will follow up on this tradition.
