PERIODICAL - Directed by Lina Lyte Plioplyte. USA 2023 (90 min) English voice, Norwegian subtitles. This fresh documentary uses natural and social science to clarify the myths and facts about menstruation. We get personal stories from a number of famous women and meet young activists who are fighting to change discriminatory laws.

NAME ME LAWAND - Director: Edward Lovelace. United Kingdom 2022 (84 min) English/sign language and Kurdish speech, Norwegian subtitles. Deaf Lawand (5) flees with his family from Iraqi Kurdistan to England, where he starts at the Royal School for the Deaf and learns to communicate for the first time. This moving and sensual documentary tells a universal story of language and community.

ANOTHER BODY - Director: Sophie Compton, Reuben Hamlyn. USA 2023 (79 min) English voice, English subtitles. College student Taylor discovers that someone has used deepfake technology to create pornographic films starring "her". She wants to hold the culprit accountable. This disturbing documentary shows the dangers of artificial intelligence and toxic masculinity.
