Dear family and friends of Fana students,
We warmly welcome you to Family and Friends Day at Fana folkehøgskule , Saturday, November 22. This is the day where students get to shine and give a real insight into life at the folk high school – with exhibitions, a concert and lectures from the fall's work.
You register in the form and Saturday costs 300kr for adults and 100kr for children. Do you want to stay the whole weekend? See separate information about registration and prices for accommodation.
Project week in advance
In the week before November 22nd we have a project week where we work on the themes of resources, humans vs. nature and balance. The students develop their own projects which are presented during the Saturday. Of course, we don't know exactly what expressions and results will emerge during the week, but with this great group we are confident that it will be both entertaining and inspiring.

12 noon Coffee and cakes in the fireplace room
1 p.m. Welcome in the gym
13:30 - 15:30 Presentation of the project week's results
4 pm Serving of stew in the dining room
Coffee, cakes and a delicious stew are included in the price. We hope you have great experiences, meet new people and feel inspired after a glimpse into school life.
Accommodation – all weekend
We have a few available rooms and we are happy to fill them as much as possible. The joint program is on Saturday, but many people come from far away and it can be nice to have extra time together.
If you would like to stay overnight at the school, just contact us by email. We have 20 available rooms, 12 double and 8 single rooms. Payment for accommodation and any extra meals can be made with Vipps during the weekend. Send an email to marianneblom@fanafolk.no to book accommodation.
The price for accommodation is 300 NOK/person per night. This includes accommodation in a double room and breakfast. For single rooms there is an additional charge of 100 NOK. It is also possible to have dinner with us on both Friday and Saturday, the price is 40 NOK/person per meal.
You will be staying at the school's dormitory, so it is a basic standard with a shower and toilet in the hallway. Those staying overnight must bring their own bedding and towels. Please empty the trash and wash the floor before you leave, we would greatly appreciate it.
