Johanne Skjerdal Lindtner

About Johanne

Johanne is a teacher in the Norwegian language and culture department. She grew up both as a city girl in Bergen and a village girl in Aurland - a combination that has given her a strong connection to both people and nature.

Her education is varied and reflects her broad interests. She has studied sociology, physical education and sports, and Norwegian as a second language.

For Johanne, language is the key to understanding - and becoming part of - the culture. She is committed to building good relationships with those around her, and wants all students to feel seen, included, and to experience mastery. The teaching is characterized by engagement, play and humor, and learning together.

When Johanne is not teaching, you can often find her jogging in the forest - preferably with a friend or two, in the squash court with a fierce competitive instinct, or in a cozy café with a double cappuccino. The most important thing is that there are people there - because where there is life, there is fun!
