In this elective, we make simple things that save the environment and can be safely used over and over again.

• Knit your own cloths that don't release microplastics in the wash.

• Knit or sew your own shopping bag and decorate it however you like.

• Sew bread bags and lunch bags from organic cotton.

• Make your own coffee filter.

• If desired, we can also make Bees wraps*. Bees wraps are made from a piece of cloth with beeswax, among other things, melted in. They can replace plastic wrap and food wrap. When used properly, they last at least a year.

If someone has garments that need a simple repair, this is also possible to learn.

*Equipment for Bees wraps costs a lot, so the deductible will be more expensive for those who want to make this.
