Autumn is the time for gathering, and through this elective you will get to know our local area better and become aware of the natural resources we have around us.
It can be anything from using what we find on the shore, such as mussels, seaweed and kelp as a basis for cooking, to learning about various useful plants and mushrooms. We save apples from old apple trees, and press the apples to make our own Mildemost.
We also visit Søylands Biegard which is located here at Milde where we will, among other things, get to look into beehives and learn how to churn honey.
