Art Trip to Rome
The art department is going on a study trip to Rome in the spring.
We travel to Rome to study the great classics; the paintings, the sculptures, the Sistine Chapel, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the food, the culture and the people. Rome is a compact and vibrant city, a mix of the modern and the historic – with most things within walking distance!
The study trip combines an academic program with the freedom to experience the city on your own.
Rome is one of Europe's most exciting cities to visit for anyone interested in art, culture and history. Here you will experience European city life, exciting history and a very diverse and vibrant cultural life.
Rome in spring
Rome is a city that has it all: a unique and exciting history, attractive city life, cultural life, galleries and sights. We visit places like the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, the Vatican City, L`antica Pizzeria da Michele, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and many more!
We make good use of our time and are mostly on the move from early morning until late at night. Rome is a top culinary destination and on the trip we naturally take the opportunity to have good meals at some of the city's many exciting restaurants.
On to the Venice Art Biennale
After a week in Rome, we travel by train to the Venice Art Biennale . This is one of the world's largest and most important art festivals. A rich program with many new impressions and experiences awaits.
Filled with inspiration, we end the trip and travel home to Bergen .
