Morgensamling (Morning Assembly)

Morgensamling (Morning Assembly) is a great way to start the day for both students and staff. Students from different courses meet and hear about what is happening at the school that day.

At the morning assembly we hear the news, sing a song and get inspiration from a student or employee who talks about something he/she is interested in.

What happens at the morning meeting?

A morning collection normally includes:

  • News on the radio

  • A song

  • Word of the day

  • Messages and announcements about things happening at school

  • Birthday song if someone is having a birthday

House meeting and corridor meetings

Once a week, we use the morning assembly to have a house meeting. At this meeting, we go over the coming week and discuss issues that affect all students. For example, things like registering for electives or joint events that we will be holding.

The corridor meetings are the weekly meeting point for those who live in the same corridor at the boarding school. At the corridor meetings, you talk together about how things are going in the corridor and agree on how to solve various practical tasks and problems that arise.
